Rowe owner, Maren & three friends, Liz, Steve & Ilya are running the New York Marathon with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. This hat supports their fundraising efforts and raises awareness for Colorectal Cancer. Steve was diagnosed last year with Colon Cancer, after Liz's husband Gastroenterologist Dr. Brett Sklaw had urged him to get a colonoscopy as he approached 40. He scheduled his and little did he know, that decision would lead to a life-saving early detection of colon cancer.
Our goal is to amplify awareness about the symptoms and perils of colon cancer. Our collective goal is simple yet profound: to ensure more people recognize the signs early, enabling them to embark on successful treatment journeys, much like Steve's. We are running the marathon fueled by gratitude and determination to make a difference in the fight against colorectal cancer.
